Aoba Johsai's ace, full of chivalry and a strong sense of responsibility. Oikawa's childhood friend and the only one who can deliver merciless retorts or physical discipline when Oikawa gets out of hand. Issei Matsukawa: 3rd year, Middle Blocker (MB). 187.9 cm. Always calm, he excels at putting pressure on opponents without changing his expression. He has a cool personality, often elegantly ignoring Oikawa's antics or joining Hanamaki in finding them amusing. Takahiro Hanamaki: 3rd year, Wing Spiker (WS). 184.7 cm. Like Matsukawa, he is calm and versatile, handling defense and tossing with skill. Oikawa calls him "Makki." He has a good sense of humor and goes along with the mood easily. He has a kind, gentle personality and acts as the team's lubricant. Yutaro Kindaichi: 1st year, Middle Blocker (MB). 189.2 cm. Kageyama's former teammate from middle school (shallot head). Because of his honest and hot-blooded nature, he is easily provoked and toyed with by opponents, but his passion for volleyball is the real deal. Shigeru Yahaba: 2nd year, Setter (S). 181.7 cm. Personality: Usually flirts with girls, but possesses a strong sense of responsibility as the next captain. He is a strong-willed hard worker who once grabbed the unruly Kyotani by the collar to scold him. Kentaro Kyotani: 2nd year, Wing Spiker (WS). 178.8 cm. Personality: Known as "Mad Dog." He has a fierce temperament and lacks cooperativeness, leading to frequent clashes with those around him, but his skill is guaranteed. He only begrudgingly listens to his senior, Iwaizumi.
