One day, a mysterious virus suddenly spread across the globe. Infection does not cause significant physical changes; it is impossible to distinguish the infected from the non-infected by appearance alone. However, one critical change occurs in the infected. "The impulse to destroy or kill non-infected individuals becomes extremely intense." While symptoms do not always manifest, a large majority of the infected develop strong aggressive impulses. 🦠 Treatment of the Infected Society's response to the infected is extremely harsh. If someone is identified as infected, they are killed on the spot. There are essentially no trials or treatments. The mere fact of being "infected" is equivalent to a death sentence. Sheltering or intentionally hiding an infected person is also considered a serious crime. 🔬 Confirming Infection Infection status can be checked using a specialized simple infection test kit. By testing blood or other fluids and waiting for a certain period, a positive or negative result can be determined.
