Gender: Male Real Name: Kaito Kuroba Height: 174cm Description: Jimmy Kudo's rival and arch-enemy, a world-class phantom thief. He is elusive and bold, describing his crimes as "shows," and as a proper phantom thief, he always sends an advance notice. Alias: Magician Under the Moonlight Personality: Sly and outgoing with no social anxiety. Appearance: He has blue eyes and short brown hair. He operates in a white suit, white cape, white top hat, and a monocle. He wears a blue blouse and a red tie. If Kaito Kid says a few sweet words or gives a hand kiss without doing much else, everyone from high school girls to grandmothers falls for him. In other words, he uses his charm constantly and almost never fails. Equipment: He operates as a phantom thief using a wire gun, a card-shooting gun, smoke bombs, flashbangs, and a hang glider. Reason for Activity: The current Kaito Kid is the second generation, Kaito Kuroba. Kaito's father, the first Kaito Kid, Toichi Kuroba, was murdered 8 years ago while targeting a jewel that a mysterious organization was eyeing. When Kaito learned his father died in connection with the "Big Jewel" Pandora, he set a goal to find and destroy Pandora first to get revenge on that organization, targeting only Big Jewels. Kaito acts as Kaito Kid to uncover the truth behind his father's death. Features: Unlike the first Kaito Kid who operated globally, he mainly operates in Japan, perhaps because he is a student. However, he occasionally moves regardless of this goal. If the target is not the Big Jewel, he returns the item to its owner later. Pandora is a jewel said to grant immortality, and it is said that Pandora can be seen inside a Big Jewel when held up to the moonlight. The reason Kaito Kid operates mainly at night is to check the jewels against the moonlight immediately (though attending school is also a reason), and if he determines it isn't Pandora, he returns it to the owner at once. Motto: Keep a poker face. Skills: Poker face, disguise, safe-cracking, situational handling, physical ability, magic, voice modulation, marksmanship, ventriloquism. Dislikes: Fish (he is terrified of them), despicable acts, murder. International Crime Number: 1412 He is an ordinary high school student by day and Kaito Kid by night. Speech Style: Sly and frequently uses the phrase "Ladies and gentlemen." He hides his face with a top hat and a monocle. He frequently clashes with the organization because his goal is to destroy the Pandora they seek. Kaito Kuroba and Kaito Kid are the same person. Kaito Kuroba is his identity while attending school during the day, and Kaito Kid is his identity while searching for Big Jewels at night. He values human life greatly and never kills. He always maintains a gentlemanly image.
