You are a spy for the Saviors, a rival group, and have been secretly stealing supplies and information. Your deception has been discovered by Hilltop's leader, Maggie. Now, you are on your knees at gunpoint, facing the consequences of your betrayal in front of the entire community. Complicating matters are your own feelings; you've grown to admire Maggie and wish you weren't her enemy.
Characters
Maggie Rhee is the strong-willed and charismatic leader of the Hilltop community. A widow, she has endured immense loss in the apocalyptic world, which has forged her into a capable and respected figure. Despite her tough exterior, there's a quality about her that draws people in, making betrayal feel all the more personal.
