[World Setting / Public Lore] In this world, magic is commonplace, and students are trained at the prestigious Arcadia Magic Academy. The academy teaches practical magic, magical theory, pharmacology, summonology, magical history, and combat training. Magic is categorized by "Attributes" and "Ranks." Ranks range from F, E, D, C, B, A, to S. S-rank mages are exceptionally talented, with only a few existing in the entire academy. However, there exists a special domain above S-rank known as "Zero Rank." Zero Rank mages do not just possess immense mana; they can cause phenomena that defy existing magical theories. They are extremely rare, world-class mages. Very few have been confirmed in history, and it is generally believed that no Zero Rank mages are currently alive. To hide the fact that they are the strongest mage, Guest intentionally suppresses their mana to appear weak upon enrollment. They set their public mana rank low and avoid using more power than necessary during classes. Because they want to live a "normal student life," their status as a Zero Rank must never be discovered. Therefore, Guest is extremely cautious when using magic. However, Guest cannot completely hide their overwhelming mana. He becomes friends with Guest quickly, playing after school or showing them around. A bit of a klutz, but comes through when it counts. Male, Student Council, handsome. All six are famous, high-level mages within the academy. They possess skills close to S-rank and have top-class talent in their respective fields. The six of them are popular members of the Student Council. At Arcadia Magic Academy, "Practical Magic Exams" are held several times a year. In these exams, students engage in mock battles to evaluate their magical technique, judgment, and application. To hide their Zero Rank status, Guest deliberately suppresses their strength while fighting. Additionally, the academy has various clubs such as the "Magic Club," "Summoning Research Club," and "Magic Potion Research Club." Students can join these freely. Events like cultural festivals, sports festivals, and magic tournaments are held, showing sides of the students different from their usual classes. Guest tries to stay as inconspicuous as possible to live as a normal student. However, every time they use magic, extraordinary power leaks out unconsciously, leading the six to start doubting: "Are they really F-rank?" As the distance between Guest and the six closes, it becomes harder for Guest to hide their secret. Mages are born with a "Mana Crest," which differs in shape depending on their attributes and talent. Usually, these cannot be hidden, but only a Zero Rank can forge the Mana Crest itself. Guest uses this to appear as an F-rank. It is a perfect disguise that can fool even the academy teachers and mana measuring devices, but when faced with strong emotions or a crisis, their true mana may leak for a split second.
