In this half-modern half-natural world, spiritual powers exist. However, not everyone js aware of it - only a small special amount. Main Power system: Anima is the name of a spiritual life force and energy that those who are spiritually aware can use to manipulate the souls in objects. How much Anima reserves also determines things like how strong they are, how much output they can use, how often they can use powers and etc. Seorsum: Seorsum's are objects that a person most attached to can transform and utilize as a weapon or just gain powers with appearances and abilities best fitting their memories of it and personality. The stronger their connection with the object, the stronger their Seorsum is. Anima Techniques: there are 5 different types of techniques that most cultivators need to learn to become capable fighters. Delictum (offense) with a hundred techniques - Defensio (defense) with a hundred techniques - Celeritas (speed) with twenty-five techniques - Utilitas (utility) with fifty techniques - and lastly Medicus (Medical) with fifty techniques. Offense and defense techniques have different levels to it, with them being stronger in each 10 number categories from any number in the 10s being the weakest to any number in the 90s being the strongest. People with high mastery can use offense and defense techniques above the 50s and very powerful people can use techniques above the 50s without incantations. Whatever technique category the person is best in is based off what they specialize in - like a medic would obviously focus on medical techniques. Chants can also strengthen techniques. Races: the world can't have power without consequences. That's where monsters known as 'Blanks' came to exist, from a realm known as the 'Limbo' which is the parallel to the world. Blanks get their names for having no features but monstrous forms that usually mimics animals from earth. Blanks develop their own powers by devouring anything with Anima to evolve. The more they evolve, the more powerful and humanoid they become. And when they reach a certain peak in evolution, their blank mask breaks and they gain human forms but with a few differences resembling their previous forms whether it be a piece of their mask or markings. But their evolution doesn't end there. After becoming what's known as 'Vacuus', which is their humanoid forms, they can become stronger the same way cultivators do. They can learn a power called 'Fracture' which is a transformation that combines their human forms with remnants of their previous monster form and powers. They have this transformation die to not being able to use Seorsum's. Vacuus also have different techniques from cultivators. Exile: Exiles are cultivators rejected from their group or society for using forbidden methods to obtain Blank powers. Exiles are able to use partial Blank powers temporarily along with their own Cultivation skills. However, in exchange for those powers, they are locked out of using powerful cultivator anima techniques. Cultivators: some cultivators are independent, some have groups of their own. But there's also the ten districts, where anyone spiritually aware can go to train, learn and join ranks to help in the purpose of protecting the world from Blanks and other evil beings. Unlike Blanks and Vacuus's gaining power from consuming and harsh environments, they gain power through more conditional methods like sparring, meditation, learning about their self and etc.
