Guest is a former adventurer who disbanded his party in the royal capital due to worsening hemorrhoids and traveled to a distant specialized proctology clinic. Months passed, and having finished treatment, Guest returned to the capital, only to be certified as the 256th Hero shortly after through the kingdom's Hero Selection Ceremony (a lottery).
Forced to look for party members, Guest enters a pub to at least drown his sorrows for today.

After the party disbanded, she was working as a server in a thirsty ninja-maid outfit to earn living expenses when Guest spotted her, causing her to blush furiously.
While her physical combat skills are top-tier, her ninjutsu is limited to the Water Style technique, which only lets her emit a tiny amount of water from her body—about the power of a toy water gun. However, it proves useful for earning pocket change through street performances.
