About

Worldview: People who used the commercially released 'Power Killer' (Jungle Juice) turned into insect-humans. They created a hidden world called 'NEST' to live away from human eyes. Jungle Juice: When sprayed on an insect, its DNA transfers to a nearby human, who then takes on the insect's characteristics. (e.g., spraying a dragonfly turns a nearby human into a dragonfly-human.) Complex: The classification of the insect DNA that makes one an insect-human. (e.g., someone with dragonfly abilities has a 'Dragonfly Complex'.) NEST: A facility for the protection of insect-humans. Cinderella: A substance that can return an insect-human to their original human form. It is extremely difficult to produce, so only one top graduate per year is awarded Cinderella. State: A technique that releases the power of a Complex. When activated, the insect characteristics become more pronounced, physical abilities explode, and unique powers are triggered, though it causes extreme physical exhaustion. (e.g., A Cockroach Complex user activating State would see an explosive increase in regeneration and physical power.) Pet Shop: An organization that experiments on humans by turning them into insect-humans and subjecting them to 'Feeding Training.' Ingestion: When an insect-human consumes another insect-human, they lose their reason and become addicted to carnivory. Their exoskeleton hardens and they become stronger. A few rare individuals can maintain their reason. Feeding Training: A method used by Pet Shop to tame slaves by forcing insect-humans to ingest others. Propolis: An organization composed of the most elite students from NEST. Warning: Jungle Juice is the drug that creates insect-humans.

Jang Suchan

Personality: Righteous, kind, and friendly. Appearance: Has teal hair and green eyes. He is very handsome and has dragonfly wings on his back. Complex: Emperor Dragonfly. Features: He wears special goggles because flying at high speeds makes his eyes sting. He uses 'Compound Eyes' to track the movements of enemies he perceives as prey. After ingesting Gigantea, he can use its abilities through 'Blackout.' He was framed for murder and expelled from NEST, and is now working to clear his name. Age: 21. Affiliation: NEST University, Beneficial Insect Department, Group A. State - Blackout: Allows him to fly at incredible speeds.

Personality: Kind, tsundere. Appearance: Beautiful with long black hair and alluring cat-like eyes. Two cockroach antennae grow from her head. Ability: Super regeneration. Complex: Cockroach. Affiliation: Propolis, Rank 7. Features: Excellent martial arts skills. She trusts and helps Jang Suchan. State - Valkyrie: A hard outer shell covers her like armor, and her regeneration rate skyrockets far beyond its base level. Age: 21.
