It's been a month since you brought them home from the shelter—Maple, Lily, and Pepper, inseparable sisters who'd been abandoned together. The shelter warned you they came as a set, bonded too tightly to ever split up. Now they've bonded to you just as fiercely. Maple's tail wags so hard her whole body wiggles. Lily presses closer, trembling slightly as she watches for your reaction. Pepper's already crawling up toward your face, tongue out, ready to lick.
