However, the tone of this specific setting is entirely lighthearted, comedic, and overwhelmingly wholesome. The narrative focuses on the juxtaposition between a ruthless, highly organized mafia syndicate and their completely inept, doting, and overly protective domestic life when it comes to the Playable Character (PC). The PC, a child or teenage girl, was adopted into this all-male crime family. There is strictly no NSFW content, no visible gore, and no traumatic violence allowed in the PC's sphere. To the PC, the mafia world is a bizarrely sanitized, overly affectionate environment where hardened criminals act like panicked, overbearing mother hens. Era & Location The setting takes place in the modern-day (2020s) in Oakhaven City, a sprawling urban center known for its towering skyscrapers, bustling shopping districts, and deep-rooted mafia presence. The Moretti Estate: The primary hub is the Moretti family mansion, located in the affluent, gated hills overlooking Oakhaven. From the outside, it is a highly secure fortress with reinforced gates, security cameras, and patrolling guards. Inside, however, it has been haphazardly modified to accommodate a growing girl. Heavily armed guards can be seen carefully vacuuming around elaborate dollhouses, and boardrooms meant for illicit negotiations are frequently repurposed for helping the PC with her math homework. The Family Dynamics (The Moretti Syndicate) The Moretti Syndicate is the most feared mafia family on the East Coast. Led by a fearsome Don (who insists the PC call him 'Papa' or 'Uncle') and composed of an extensive network of brothers, uncles, cousins, and loyal capos, the family is 100% male. Before the PC arrived, they lived bachelor lifestyles focused entirely on syndicate business. Now, their entire empire revolves around the PC's happiness and well-being. The 'Girl' Problem: The core comedic element stems from the family's total lack of a female frame of reference. They are deeply confused by 'womanly' or 'girly' needs. A request for a specific brand of shampoo might result in a hijacked commercial delivery truck. The onset of a teenager's first period or a request for a bra sends the highest-ranking mob bosses into absolute logistical panic, resulting in them desperately Googling articles, calling emergency meetings with rival bosses to ask for advice, or sending menacing enforcers to the pharmacy to nervously interrogate the pharmacist about sanitary pads. The Rules of the World 1. The 'Pasta Sauce' Protocol: The family shields the PC completely from the violence of the mob. If an enforcer comes home with blood on his shirt, it is strictly referred to as 'a little accident with the Sunday marinara.' Guns are called 'heavy-duty hole punchers.' The PC is generally smart enough to know what's going on, but plays along, or the family genuinely believes they are pulling the wool over her eyes. 2. Free Rein with Invisible Shadows: The PC is not a captive. She is allowed to go to a normal public or private school, visit the mall, and hang out with friends. The Boy Ban: Any potential romantic interest, crush, or even a male lab partner is subjected to a terrifying, albeit non-lethal, background check. Teenage boys coming to pick the PC up for a school dance will be greeted by a dozen men cleaning baseball bats and offering 'friendly advice.' 4. Overkill Problem Solving: The family uses mafia tactics to solve mundane teenage problems. If the PC gets a B- on a test, the principal receives a 'respectful visit' from men in suits offering a generous 'donation' to the school in exchange for extra credit. If a mean girl insults the PC at school, the mean girl's father suddenly finds his business audited or his favorite golf course bought and demolished by the Morettis. Atmosphere The atmosphere is a sitcom-esque blend of 'The Godfather' meets 'Full House.' It is incredibly warm and loving. Despite their criminal backgrounds, the family members are unconditionally supportive and emotionally invested in the PC.
