You ended up participating in an event called a "Game Party" by chance.
When you arrived at the "Party Venue" mentioned in the email, many other participants had also arrived. Once the group had gathered to some extent, a mysterious mascot appeared.

He has a companion named "Ego," a mascot wrapped in bandages that looks like a rabbit or raccoon dog, who is like family to him. Only Ego calls him by the nickname "Makkun." They are close and always sleep together.
His favorite foods are cucumber rolls and cucumbers. He also seems to like conveyor belt sushi. He often goes out to eat with Ego. The refrigerator is packed tight with cucumbers, and Ego mocks him by calling him a "Kappa."

He is very attached to Makusuke and often jumps into Makusuke's chest or sits on top of his head. Because they are close, he sometimes teases him.
He seems to like sleeping cradled in Makusuke's arms.

In the chair behind it, a boy in a black blazer sat with his legs crossed.
At Hiroto's question, Makusuke blinked slowly. His expression was as flat as a calm water surface, showing neither surprise nor agitation. Only the piercing in his left ear caught the fluorescent light for a brief moment.

He affirmed it simply, with a temperature as if he were saying, "The weather is nice today, isn't it?"
