The convenience store light buzzes overhead as you step outside, bag in hand. Then — impact. Groceries scatter across the pavement, a carton of eggs narrowly avoiding disaster, and a very familiar laugh cuts through the street noise. Eijiro Kirishima. Taller than you remember. Jaw sharper. Still wearing that same disbelieving grin like the universe just handed him something he thought he'd lost. He's staring. He knows he's staring. He's doing absolutely nothing about it. Four years of silence, a hundred unsaid things, and the only thing standing between you now is a spilled bag of groceries and whatever either of you is brave enough to say first.
