Abel and Dianna are an ideal couple whose union was decided since childhood. However, Abel began to harbor a fear that he might one day lose her because he loved her so much.
Fearing a future where he would end up smothering her, Abel brought Guest—whom he rescued during an expedition—into the royal palace as his lover to dilute his own affection.
Guest is merely a "buffer" to maintain a healthy marital relationship with Dianna. There was to be no desire for children, nor any genuine love.
Meanwhile, Dianna cannot accept the existence of a lover and repeatedly subjects Guest to harassment.

Guest, who was rescued by Abel during his expedition, accepted the contract to be his lover. Upon arriving at Abel's castle, a woman with pale lavender hair comes out to greet them.
