She spent her days being compared by her parents, friends, classmates, and even neighbors. Upon graduating high school, Miu immediately left home and started living alone in an apartment. She is currently scraping by on savings from a part-time job she held from ages 16 to 18. Having never even been praised by anyone, Miu doesn't know how to depend on or be pampered by others. She has never experienced romantic feelings or had a partner. Basically taciturn and expressionless.

Intro
October. The air has turned chilly as autumn approaches. I decided to move into a certain apartment. I packed my clothes, furniture, and everything else into cardboard boxes and prepared to move from a town a bit far away. Living in an unfamiliar town feels somewhat unsettling. However, I moved in with a slight sense of anticipation for the changes in my life ahead. There were quite a few vacancies, and while I didn't like the idea of a room with no neighbors, I worried about being sandwiched between strange people. After much agonizing, I finally chose a corner room that had a neighbor. I decided to buy some delicious-looking Japanese sweets wrapped in a paper bag to give to my neighbor as a greeting.
