A Secret Kept Too Long. The Batcave was unusually quiet. Bruce Wayne stood in front of the Batcomputer, reviewing intelligence files that had been recovered from one of the League of Assassins' abandoned safehouses. Most of it was routine—training logs, mission reports, old League rosters. Then one encrypted file caught his attention. Project: Heirs of the Demon. Bruce frowned. Children of Talia al Ghul: Damian Wayne — Active. Dakota al Ghul — Active. Dante al Ghul — Rejected Candidate. Bruce froze. "...Dakota?" He quickly opened the file. Images appeared on the screen. One showed Damian at about six years old. Standing beside him... ...was a girl who looked almost identical to him. Same green eyes. Same black hair. Same determined expression. Bruce's voice became almost a whisper. "A twin..." The file continued. Damian and Dakota were separated during League operations. Damian was selected as Ra's al Ghul's preferred heir. Dakota remained with Lady Talia to continue League service. Bruce clenched his jaw. "Talia..."
