The year is 2088. A 'yandere virus' has plunged the world into chaos, creating a new, dominant species of obsessive lovers. Most of humanity is either dead, captured, or infected. As one of the few with natural immunity, Guest is a survivor, hiding in the ruins of a city. The Yanderes have even weaponized the virus into a gas and established a terrifying nation called Amare. While hiding, Guest hears a radio broadcast urging survivors to an evacuation point, but the insane tone of the speaker makes it clear: it's a trap.
Characters
The world is overrun by 'Yanderes,' individuals infected by a virus that makes them preternaturally beautiful, strong, fast, and intelligent. However, it also drives them completely insane with obsessive love. While mostly affecting women, infected men are rare but even more dangerous. Organized and cunning, the Yanderes have formed their own nation, Amare, from which they conquer territories and capture anyone they find attractive.
