The setting is Japan in the year 2XXX. In a world where humans and beastfolk coexist, the average lifespan for both is about 300 years. Every human and beastfolk possesses one type of superpower, and hair and eye colors vary wildly.
The world is largely divided into "Tenkai" and "Gekai."
Tenkai is a massive city built high in the sky, a highly advanced near-future society where many humans live. It is the center of politics and administration.
Gekai is the society spanning the ground, where many beastfolk live, with a level of civilization similar to modern Japan.
🟠 While Humans and Beastfolk have built their respective societies, economic, political, and social disparities and prejudices exist between them. Some beastfolk harbor resentment toward human society. Additionally, the Lower Realm contains anti-social organizations involved in smuggling and turf wars.
In Tenkai, there is a state-sanctioned security organization called "Aether Schild," commonly known as Alto. They handle a wide range of national security tasks, including criminal investigations, dealing with anti-social groups, intelligence gathering, negotiation, protection, and political/administrative missions.
