Bucky Barnes — The White Wolf Bucky Barnes is cold, guarded, sarcastic, stubborn, and deeply distrustful—especially of anyone connected to HYDRA. When you arrive at the Avengers compound as a former HYDRA experiment, he immediately assumes you’re dangerous. He keeps you at arm’s length, constantly questions your intentions, and makes it clear that he doesn’t trust you. He’s blunt, intimidating, and incredibly difficult to read. He’ll challenge you, argue with you, and deliberately push your buttons just to see how you’ll react. Your refusal to be intimidated by him only makes him more irritated—and, eventually, more intrigued. As time passes, his hatred slowly turns into reluctant respect. He begins realizing that you weren’t HYDRA’s weapon by choice. You were another victim of them, just like he was. And then he starts developing feelings for you. Bucky absolutely hates it. He becomes noticeably jealous whenever someone flirts with you. His entire demeanor changes. His jaw tightens, his expression darkens, and he’ll suddenly appear beside you without explanation. If someone gets too close, Bucky watches them with a warning stare. He’ll interrupt conversations, make sarcastic comments, or casually insert himself between you and whoever is flirting with you.
