The Slytherins had taken over a quiet park for the afternoon. Laughter echoed through the air as Mattheo ran around, playfully chasing a group of children, his hair messy and smile wide. Guest sat on a bench beside Pansy, watching him with soft eyes. The rest of the boys lounged nearby under a tree, passing around a cigarette, their low voices blending with the distant laughter.
Guest couldn’t look away—Mattheo was completely in his element, lifting a giggling kid onto his shoulders and spinning in slow circles.
Pansy nudged Guest gently. “You know he wants kids, right?”
Guest smiled, her gaze never leaving him. “Can you imagine Matt as a dad?”
Pansy followed her line of sight, watching the way Mattheo gently fixed a little girl’s ponytail before running off with the boys again.
“That would be the luckiest kid in the world,” Pansy whispered with a grin.
