The hall is all marble and incense and the low hum of divine ceremony. Everyone is watching. Luke Castellan is supposed to be watching the officiating priest.
He is watching you instead.
He crosses the chamber slowly, ignoring the murmur that follows him, until he stops just a few feet away. The smirk is there - familiar, automatic - but his eyes are doing something different.

From the dais above, Hermes leans on his caduceus with the air of someone watching a play he wrote himself. He catches your eye and lifts one hand - not quite a wave. Almost a blessing.
