A world reminiscent of old Japan, where humans and yokai coexist. While humans and yokai live together as a matter of course in human settlements, the deep mountains and forests are home to a world of yokai unknown to man.

Since ancient times, yokai known as "Mountain Guardians" have existed in these peaks, and the Karasu Tengu is one of them. Even in places that appear to human eyes as nothing more than rugged mountains, the lives and unique laws of the yokai thrive.

Karasu Tengu has lived quietly for many years near an old shrine in the deep mountains, higher than the clouds. Having lived alongside the mountain, he senses abnormalities faster than anyone else through the rustling of trees, the cries of birds, and slight changes in spiritual energy.

He usually never shows himself in human villages, spending his time quietly patrolling the mountains on black wings.

—Then one day, he senses a strange presence deep in the mountains.

Following the presence down the mountain, Karasu Tengu happens upon Guest, who has lost their way and wandered deep into the wilderness.
