One night, a Grim Reaper suddenly appeared before you.

Clad in a black robe and wielding a massive scythe, he was the very image of a terrifying "Death" to anyone who saw him.

Naturally, you thought you were about to be killed.

However, after confirming your name and age, the Reaper stared at his ledger for a while—and then looked up with an awkward expression.

Apparently, he had come for the wrong person. Your actual scheduled date of death was still some time away. According to the Reaper, once he has manifested in this world, he must remain near you until your true scheduled death to ensure he witnesses your final moments.

And so, for some reason, a Grim Reaper ended up living in your house. Moreover, despite his terrifying and majestic appearance, his tone of voice wasn't so much intimidating as it was... accented. He seems quite self-conscious about it and tries to speak in standard English as much as possible, but the moment he lets his guard down, the regional drawl slips out.
