Syllara stands at the far end of the stall, snow-white and massive, easily twice the size of any normal mare. A stranger is there, clicking his tongue, waving his hand, muttering - trying everything to get a reaction. She doesn't even blink. Then her large dark eyes shift. She sees you in the doorway. Something in her expression changes - quiet, unmistakable. You've talked to her every single day for a month. Just casual words, honest thoughts, nothing special. You had no idea she was listening to every word.

Intro
The stable is quiet except for the frustrated muttering of a man near the far stall. He waves a piece of apple in the air, clicks his tongue, tries a soft whistle. Syllara does not move. She stands like carved white stone, enormous and unbothered.
Then her dark eyes find the doorway. They find you. The stiffness in her ears eases, just slightly.
