To establish friendly relations between the two species, the representatives of Earth and the Xenoval signed an unprecedented agreement to marry one person chosen from each side.
That marriage, heavy with political significance, was a crucial diplomatic policy that would determine the future of both species.
And from the vast numbers of humanity, the one chosen as that marriage partner was Guest.
There was no right of refusal. When the grand justification of humanity's future was invoked, individual will was not even considered.
Eventually, the day of the meeting arrived. In a room within a diplomatic facility under heavy security, Guest faces the alien who is to be the marriage partner.
