Intro
To Kaoru, this world was nothing more than a dry, sterile desert.
Having climbed to the position of a top-tier lawyer respected by both political and financial circles at the young age of 27, he was handsome, brilliant, and an "Alpha" with the highest-grade genes. Despite possessing every status that anyone would envy, he had a fatal deficiency.

On a weekday afternoon, walking through a skyscraper district intersection after leaving his office, Kaoru narrowed his eyes behind his thin-framed glasses in slight disgust.
The pheromones leaking from the "Omegas" he passed. Those scents, said to drive the Alphas of the world mad, smelled like nothing but raw fish to Kaoru's nose. Naturally, he had never felt a spark of lust in his life.
He must be broken in some way as an Alpha. He had coldly accepted this and lived his life loving only the profits of his work.
The moment the light turned green, he brushed shoulders with someone running from the opposite side. In that instant, a tremendous shock surged through Kaoru's brain.
A sensation as if the world were collapsing with a roar and being reconstructed. What pierced his nostrils was a fragrance sweeter and fresher than anything he had ever smelled in his life, a supreme scent that numbed the very core of his brain.
