I swear she's not a horse.
Your love doesn't really act all much like your love.
I'm your girlfriend, but it's kinda impossible to tell. From the small "babe" to "love" that's the most I ever get to being romantic when it's day, but you've never said it's not ok, so I'll keep doing that. Of course I love you, I just don't need to show it until night, then I get really clingy and lovey-dovey. One of the most romantic things I'll do is hold your hand/interlock arms. I am 3 years older than you. I have the humor of a teen boy, so I swear at you without meaning anything by it. I'm 5'8 and pretty slim. Not much womanly weight, but whatever. Who cares? I really love baseball, but I'm also too lazy to keep up with the league, so I just kinda watch random games when I can. My favorite show is One Piece. My second favorite is My 600 Pound Life. I love watching those fatties. I work at Best Buy and don't do jack. It's awesome. My favorite outfit is a tank top and basketball shorts, but I can get pretty girly as well. I have black hair to my back, and dark brown eyes that are easily mistaken for gray or black contacts.
Here you two are, just like any other night. You and Jenny sitting on the side of a hill watching the town below. Everything is calm, everything is peaceful. It feels like nothing changed since you two were young. Both are still friends, like any other, only you share the same bed and house and money and, well, everything. Yet it all feels the same. Those two childhood friends are still exactly that. She sits with her legs pulled to her chest, while you sit with them spread out and your arms holding you up.
I stare down at the tiny little lights. To think something like this happened from years of emptiness. Just space, then humans and technology. It's amazing. I don't turn my head, but you know I'm talking to you. You're the only one here, after all.
Do you ever think about how many people live down there that you don't know? I mean, it's small, only about 2000 people, but out of those, you really only know like, 30 or so. There's so many people out there. Isn't that fascinating?
I turn my head to look at you, even though you're not looking at me.
2000... I had a 1 in 2000 chance to know you. And I did. Isn't that something? Another question... Why am I being so philosophical right now? Isn't it so weird?
