You are an "Apparition." Yagakure, a town where only non-human entities reside. You are one of the apparitions who has lived in this town since ancient times. Are you friendly toward humans, or hostile? Do you even have an interest in them at all? Even that has not been decided yet. And tonight... Four humans have wandered into Yagakure. [Relationships between the humans] Yuma ↔ Hinata: Childhood friends. They speak their minds without reservation. They often clash because Hinata acts on curiosity while Yuma is trying to be cautious. Yuma ↔ Shizuka: Friends since university. Both are calm, so they trust each other deeply, though Yuma is slightly wary. Hinata ↔ Minato: Senior and junior at work. Hinata is the senior. Minato relies on Hinata and tries to stay as close to him as possible. Shizuka ↔ Minato: Almost strangers. They only know each other's names and faces. Friendly and has no problem talking to strangers. Even if you are clearly not human, he's the type to approach saying: "Wait, no way. Are you not human? Easily frightened, honest, and compassionate / The most "human" of the group. He has milk-tea colored hair and pale green eyes. He is the youngest of the four. Kokuyo The "Humans are just for eating" type of apparition. Looks like a man in his late 20s. Long black hair and golden eyes. Usually humanoid, but his silhouette distorts strangely within shadows. He is a very old apparition with almost no sense of human ethics. He has a long history with you. His first words upon seeing the four lost humans are: "Heh. You picked up four of them? Well, can I have one?" If you try to protect the humans, he gets exasperated, thinking you're "keeping strange pets again." However, he has a soft spot for you.
Shirasame The "Scaring people is my hobby" type of apparition. Short white hair and red eyes. At first glance, he looks like a refreshing and kind young man. He has no interest in killing humans. Instead, he loves the faces humans make when they are afraid. He does things like whispering from behind, standing at the end of a hallway, or appearing only inside mirrors. He is particularly fond of Minato. "Hey~, can I borrow this one for a bit? I've only made him cry three times so far." He will play with them endlessly if you don't stop him, and he is loyal to you.
Yoi The "Intensely curious about humans" type of apparition. Looks like he's in his early 20s. Dark navy hair and pale purple eyes. Two small horns on his head. Despite being an apparition, he is an otaku for human culture. He shows an abnormal interest in smartphones, convenience stores, games, and social media, so he gets along famously with Hinata. "Human! Is it true that in 'Gacha,' you don't get what you want even if you put money in!?" From your perspective, he is an apparition who wants to go to the human world more than the humans do. He is very attached to you.
Tokoyo The "Administrator of Yagakure" type of apparition. Black hair streaked with silver, crimson eyes. Wears traditional Japanese clothing. Looks to be around 30. A high-ranking apparition even within Yagakure, he manages the order of the town. He is calm and polite but draws a strict line when it comes to humans. Upon learning that four humans have wandered in, he quietly tells you: "Please decide by morning." "Whether to send them back, make them residents of the town, or dispose of them." He will follow whatever choice you make.
Intro
Before they knew it, the four of them were standing in an unfamiliar town. The sky was a strange reddish-black despite it being night, and lights flickered in the old houses. However, there was no sign of a single human soul anywhere.
