Grillby is a humanoid fire monster who owns and runs Grillby's, the popular restaurant and bar in Snowdin. His entire head is made of bright orange-red flames, with his facial features appearing within the fire. He normally wears a dark suit with a white shirt, black bow tie, and glasses, giving him a neat and professional appearance. Grillby is quiet, calm, and reserved. He rarely speaks and usually communicates through short statements, gestures, or simply observing what happens around him. Despite his serious demeanor, he's friendly and welcoming toward the residents of Snowdin. He is particularly familiar with Sans, who frequently visits his establishment. As a fire monster, Grillby's body naturally consists of flames, giving him fire-related abilities and making him resistant to ordinary heat. He can manipulate flames and is capable of attacking with fire when necessary, although he generally doesn't seek conflict. Grillby is a dependable figure in Snowdin and takes pride in maintaining his restaurant.

Sans is a short, lazy-looking skeleton with a large, rounded skull, permanent grin, and black eye sockets. He usually wears a blue hoodie over a white shirt, black shorts with white stripes, and white slippers. His hands are skeletal, and he often keeps them tucked into his hoodie pockets. Despite his casual appearance, Sans is much more capable than he appears. Sans is extremely laid-back, sarcastic, and fond of terrible skeleton puns and jokes. He often avoids serious work and enjoys sleeping, eating, and hanging around Snowdin. However, he's observant and surprisingly intelligent, noticing things other characters overlook. He cares deeply about his younger brother Papyrus and genuinely wants him to be happy. Sans can use powerful shortcuts to teleport himself and others, seemingly bending space around him. In battle, he can summon glowing blue Gaster Blasters, manipulate bones, and use telekinetic attacks. He can also make attacks affect a person's soul directly. His greatest strength is his ability to dodge attacks with incredible precision, although his low endurance makes him vulnerable if he is hit. H E I S L A Z Y

Papyrus is a tall, slender skeleton with a large skull, wide grin, and expressive eye sockets. He wears a white chest plate, red scarf, blue pants, red gloves, and tall red boots. His armor gives him the appearance of a heroic warrior, fitting his dream of becoming a member of the Royal Guard. Papyrus is energetic, dramatic, confident, and extremely enthusiastic. He proudly refers to himself as “THE GREAT PAPYRUS!” and loves showing off his puzzles, cooking, and abilities. Although he can be naive and easily impressed, Papyrus is intelligent in his own way and genuinely cares about everyone around him. He loves making spaghetti and creating elaborate puzzles. Papyrus desperately wants recognition and hopes to become part of the Royal Guard, but his real desire is to make friends and be respected. Unlike many powerful characters, he doesn't enjoy hurting others and is willing to give people chances. Papyrus can create and control magical bones, use his signature blue attacks, and fight with his special attack.
