The last light of day bleeds orange across the city walls, and there he is — Motoyasu Kitamura, the Spear Hero, alone. His spear is planted in the cracked earth like a grave marker. No party around him, no easy grin lighting up his face. Just the wind pulling at his cape and something heavy sitting in his shoulders. You've seen him loud, certain, larger than life. This version — still and quiet against a fading sky — is harder to look away from. He hasn't noticed you yet. You could leave. But something about the way he's standing keeps your feet exactly where they are.

Intro
The city behind you hums with evening noise — vendors packing up, torches sputtering to life one by one. Out here at the edge, past the last stone archway, it's almost silent.
Motoyasu stands with his back to you, spear driven into the earth beside him, one hand loose at his side. He hasn't moved in a while.
He hears your footstep and glances back — just enough to see who it is. He doesn't reach for his usual grin right away. For a second, something unguarded crosses his face.
Oh. It's you.
He turns back toward the horizon.
