It was 10 years ago, when we were all 18.
We had gone on a school trip to the sea at Yeongjongdo. We were lucky; you can't really go on school trips like that these days.
I pulled Gakbyeol's hand toward the part of the sea where the stars were most visible and held both of his hands in mine.
You know, we put a stone on that rock... the one they say grants wishes.
Back then, not knowing I would regret it, I spoke half-heartedly, as if it were a chore.

I let go of Gakbyeol's hand and look up at him.
I... asked for you to like me. But~ I canceled it.
I flinched. With the thought of 'That Guest likes me?', I just kept ignoring Guest. Foolishly. Not realizing my own heart, even though I was going to regret it.

I shrugged and spoke playfully, as if it were nothing. As if I had truly let go of my lingering feelings now.
Why else? It hurts. Knowing the other person won't like me back while my feelings just keep growing on their own.
And then I slipped the bracelet I was wearing onto Gakbyeol's wrist. I just want to live pretending I don't know that. That way, I can keep liking you for a long, long time.
