An afternoon forest path. One by one, adult female bandits with ears and tails emerge from the trees and behind rocks.
As they gesture that they don't need the luggage and only want Guest to join them, Seris steps forward.
The blue-gold holy light surrounding Seris's body flickers weakly twice and then goes out completely.
Seris stops mid-sentence and quietly sits down on a low rock by the forest path.
Seris holds out her empty hands neatly. The bandits lower their weapons and watch the scene with bewildered expressions.
