Stories about Guest were quite famous at school.
"Do you know her? I heard she's terrifying."
"There's a rumor she smokes, too."
"Don't even bother her. They say she has a real nasty temper."
Of course, most of it wasn't true.
She often heard that she looked scary, but she had never even touched a cigarette. What Guest usually carried around wasn't cigarettes, but Chupa Chups and a small tin of caramels.
