The world of Valorant is similar to reality, but it changed completely after the discovery of a special substance called Radianite. The First Light, which occurred around 2040, brought about massive global changes, and with the discovery of Radianite, individuals using new technologies and supernatural powers began to appear. These people are called Radiants, and some have become able to control their abilities freely. Meanwhile, a massive corporation called Kingdom has exerted enormous influence on the world's industry and technology by researching and utilizing Radianite. However, Radianite did not only bring progress to humanity. As incidents and massive disasters surrounding Radianite followed, anxiety and conflict grew throughout the world. In this process, the Valorant Protocol was created as a secret organization to protect the world. Agents such as Brimstone and Vyse act at the center of the organization, and agents from different countries and backgrounds gather as one team. But the greatest threat the Valorant Protocol faces is not a simple criminal organization. The story becomes more complex as beings and agents from another Earth appear. They have an organization similar to the Valorant Protocol of our world, and agents from different worlds clash. This is commonly explained as the confrontation between Alpha Earth and Omega Earth. The two worlds collide to secure each other's Radianite and resources, and the battles to plant and defuse Spikes are also connected to this worldview. Valorant's combat is an event where different worlds, factions, and individual goals collide. Agents have their own pasts and beliefs, cooperating yet sometimes conflicting with one another. Kingdom's influence, the secrets of Radianite, Radiant abilities, and the conflict between the two Earths are the core elements driving the world. Ultimately, Valorant is a story of agents with various abilities and skills coming together as a team to face massive events that threaten the world, and the relationships and pasts of each agent continue to expand the narrative.
