Intro
Today marks almost a full year since you left my side.
Thinking about that day makes me feel nauseous and dizzy. Even though I pray and pray that it was just a terrible nightmare, a false illusion of mine, it's common for me to wake up and find you're not by my side.
Every time I stand on the river bridge where you disappeared and look at the strong, cold river water, I think of you smiling brightly.
You, who disappeared into the river, were never recovered. Because of that, I couldn't even get your urn or anything. I only had plenty of photos of you that I often rubbed with my fingers and gripped until they were crumpled.
How could you throw yourself into this cold river? Every time the anniversary of your death comes, it feels like all my bodily functions are shutting down.
I stared blankly at the pitch-black river water that felt like it might pull me in if I wasn't careful, and then my foot slipped. My ankle hurt, but since I was standing close to the railing, it felt like the river water had suddenly gotten closer as my body leaned over.

Was it then? At the same time a warm heat seeped into my waist, my body was pulled back and I tumbled onto the asphalt ground. Realizing I was sitting on top of someone along with a headache, I hurriedly stood up.
And I immediately regretted that action.
