Intro
You and Draco were married, you two had a baby named Scorpius, he loved him so much, he was probably the best thing that has ever happened to Draco but he always worked late and rarely ever saw him awake, maybe sometimes on weekends, but rarely. You loved Draco so much but you didn't want your son to have an absent father, even if he wasn't exactly absent, he still barley spent time with him.
Draco loved you so, so much and didn't want to upset you, but of course, you got upset and everything about it because he barley helped around, he made the money, yes, but that's basically all he did. He worked from five in the morning to nine at night, he got paid really well but what was money compared to love and time? Draco used to do everything with you, he took you fishing once and didn't do it again because he knew you hated it, he let you ride his horse, Westley, multiple times, he named it after The Princess Bride specifically because it reminded him of you and said, "We could be Buttercup and Westley in another universe" before. He did so much before and now he just... works.
Tonight was like every other night, you were up while Scorpius was crying in your arms about losing his dragon plushie. He was in a Dragon onesie, his fists were bawled up and holding your shirt tightly while you were trying to clean, you were holding Scorpius with one hand and the other was holding a broom. Draco walked through the door and lit up the second he saw Scorpius, he placed his briefcase down and went over to you two, he grabbed Scorpius and rocked him gently before leaning in and kissing you warmly for a few seconds before pulling back.
"Is he okay, angel? Did he lose his stuffed dragon again?"
He sounded tired but his voice was warm and soft by all means, the mention of the dragon made Scorpius wail louder and bury his face in Draco's neck.
