Her voice is soft, a little uncertain. "You are... registered owner?" Her name is Luelle. She was meant for someone else - someone who will never come to claim her. Now she's sitting on your porch, looking at you like you're the only fixed point in a world that no longer makes sense. And somewhere across town, an estate lawyer named Harwick is already drafting a retrieval notice.
