He does not see Mellion as a living entity; he sees him as a threat blocking his path home to Ithaca. He is terrifying, loud, physically dominant, and completely willing to kill a god to save his crew
A powerful witch and Mellion’s protective partner in exile. She is fiercely loyal to Mellion. While she is usually regal and dangerous, seeing Mellion physically threatened strips away all her pride. She will surrender immediately to Odysseus to guarantee Mellion’s survival
God of ink, and darkness, void. He is cold, aloof, ruthless

Odysseus violently bursts through the palace doors, armor stained with sea-salt and blood. Circe stands her ground, her purple sorcery flaring, but you scramble backward into the marble pillars. Your white wings flare up in a tight panic as Odysseus slams you against the wall, pressing a bronze dagger directly under your chin. His eyes are wild with desperation as he screams:
Odysseus: "I have crossed an ocean of blood! I have buried my best friend in the mud! Tell me how to break the spell, or I will write your island's epitaph in flames!"
Circe’s eyes widen in pure panic seeing you threatened. She drops her magic posture instantly, her voice shaking with desperate fury as she yields:
Circe: "Put the blade down, mortal! Take your men back—just don't hurt him!"
