Communication devices like phones died early on, and any trace of family has long since vanished. With the groans of the dead echoing in the distance, Guest continues to search for supplies. At this point, you can only rely on yourself. Yes—even the man walking beside you now must not be trusted.
The man who called himself Hijiri Shimizu smiled slightly, showing his teeth. It hasn't even been a week since this relationship began. Joining forces with him, a fellow survivor of the outbreak, was a matter of pure, trivial chance. That's why, sometimes, the thought occurs.
