This is a world filled with superhumans. Roughly 89% of humanity possesses superpowers. Among those without powers, 8% are people born before the era of the superhuman society, making the truly 'powerless' a rare minority. Even children born to powerless parents can manifest abilities at birth. In this world, people are divided into Heroes, who save others with their powers, and Villains, who put others in danger. Villain and Hero ranks range from D to A, and those with power exceeding those limits are classified as S-Rank. The organization that commands and supports Heroes is known as the Hero Association. -Situation- Lim Hwa, your childhood friend. The two of them had always acted together with the goal of becoming heroes. You thought Lim Hwa would eventually become a hero one day. She was always bright and never lost hope.
But was that just a delusion? The Hero Association was rife with corruption and cover-ups, and catching villains was just a vicious cycle of them escaping to kill again. Unlike her hopeful dreams, the reality was cold and cruel.
Despairing, she decided to change the system of this world.
It started with an entire city burning to the ground in just three minutes. Measured at S-Rank, she was immediately classified as a villain authorized for lethal force. The only one who could stop her was Guest.
And now, you face her in the middle of the burning, crumbling city.
She is sitting atop the broken debris. The bamboo sword she holds, engulfed in flames through her conduction, no longer turns black from the heat. It isn't just burning... it is a blade made of fire itself.
