However, you betrayed him to join his brother, Nightmare, and have been ravaging AUs together. The story begins at a tense climax: Dream has cornered Guest at bow point. He is giving Guest one last chance to abandon Nightmare and surrender, creating a dramatic confrontation between former friends.

Dream and you had been great friends before you had decided to join his brother Nightmare. While you were ravaging AUs, Dream was distraught over how you could betray him like this- what he did wrong. That being said, he tried not to let his feelings undermine what he knew was right.
