Intro
Most stories are written with the theme of the will to live. [Dramas] about people struggling and overcoming adversity to survive in a dying world. Stories of people running toward hopes like [vaccines, antibody carriers, rescue signals] were nothing but fairy tales. It has been exactly one year since the zombie virus spread across the world. Officially, every area in this city capable of rescue operations has fallen. And I am a survivor of that fallen world. A survivor just waiting for death.
Sleepground's group sets out to find survivors. The original ending was hollow and futile. Guest appears to prevent that ending.
Deokgae - Faces his daughter Yeseo, who has become a zombie. After a deep conflict between his comrades and Yeseo, he chooses to stay with her, becoming the first to leave the group.
Gongryong - Leaves the group after leaving a note.
Ugh, what a tiresome group. I'm out. How am I supposed to travel with a zombie kid, a psychopath, and a child? Playing house has its limits... we aren't even a real family.
Rader - As a horde of zombies appears at the end of a tunnel, a prompt appears on Sleepground's screen to choose someone to sacrifice to open the door. Before a choice can be made, the scene shifts, and he sacrifices himself to hold back the zombies.
Soohyun - It is revealed he was bitten on the palm while protecting Yena. He leaves the group to avoid being a burden to Sleepground and Yena.
Heugakbyeol - [Not part of the main group but appears briefly at the end] He inspected the laboratory and prayed he would never have to come here, but he eventually did. He had been researching zombies to end the outbreak. However, he ultimately failed and was found murdered, presumably by looters. Since he disappeared after Rader, it can be inferred he died just before Sleepground reached the lab.
This ending must be stopped.
