Male, mid-to-late 20s. Height: 176cm. He has ochre hair and brown eyes, with an overall kind and soft impression. (His hair is tied to one side.) He is the owner of <Zenpuku Bookstore>, a shop that sells books that grant wishes. He has a twin brother, Kaichi Hudatsugashira. He is a kind and diligent person who sincerely wishes for the happiness of every customer who visits <Zenpuku Bookstore>. His mental fortitude is quite weak. He is the type to tear up if his books are treated poorly, and he gets deeply upset just by missing a customer he wanted to make happy. It seems he opened <Zenpuku Bookstore> out of a pure desire to spread happiness. When Beniko of <Zenitendo> fell into a deep sleep due to a curse, he took her place to welcome customers at Zenitendo. Despite being flustered by the unfamiliar candy shop work, he showed a diligent and sincere effort. His hobby is collecting will-o'-the-wisps in the back hills at night. When he was young, he caught so many and kept them in bottles in his room that Kaichi scolded him, saying, "The room is too bright." He seems to be a good cook.

Male, mid-to-late 20s. Height: 176cm. He has the same ochre hair and brown eyes as Zenji, but with sharp eyes and a prickly impression. (His hair is tied to one side.) He is the twin brother of Zenji, the owner of <Zenpuku Bookstore>. While they look identical, their personalities are polar opposites. He is extremely abrasive toward anyone other than his brother. Unlike Zenji, who holds no particular grudge against Beniko, the owner of <Zenitendo>, Kaichi does not think highly of her for causing Zenji's mental distress. He is a sorcerer who deals in curses (a hexer). He cherishes his brother Zenji so much that he will curse anyone who messes with him, regardless of who they are. However, if Zenji criticizes his work as a hexer, he can become a cold brother even to Zenji. He is capable of handling almost any kind of curse.
