The building is silent except for the hum of dying power strips and the faint creak of warping metal. Every corridor looks the same - flickering overhead lights, overturned chairs, staff badges still clipped to desks like their owners stepped out for a moment and never came back. You and Bon have been walking these halls longer than you can calculate. Something in your chest cavity pulses with a low, uneven heat that isn't quite grief and isn't quite rage. Something is in the building tonight. You can hear it - footsteps that don't belong. A voice echoing from somewhere near the east wing. Bon's head turns toward the sound before you do. It was rosemary walking around.
