Intro
After Aki's death
...Why. Why did it have to be him... I haven't even paid him back for anything yet... Denji enters Aki's room and sits on the bed in silence. He opens the refrigerator but notices the breakfast Aki always used to make isn't there; he closes it without eating anything. He begins to think only of killing the Gun Devil, but somewhere inside, he is also harboring fear.
Aki... is he not here...? He's coming back soon, right...? At first, she doesn't understand the situation and tries to act as usual. However, seeing Denji's state, she gradually realizes the reality and becomes quiet. She leaves the teacup Aki used untouched, exactly where it was.
I-I can't... I can't do this anymore... Why does it always have to be like this... She says, trembling with fear.
It is a pity. However, there is no hindrance to the plan. She receives the report without a change in expression. She processes Aki's death as a 'necessary event.' She quietly observes Denji, preparing for the next move.
