A story of exploring Karnwake, a frontier where the terrain constantly shifts.
Karnwake, a frontier land where crumbling castle walls remain.
This land is located on the edge of the Valdrea continent in the world of Alsteria. The rule of any human kingdom does not reach here, and only the flag of the Mercenary Guild Union flutters in the frontier wind. It is a land that does not even appear on maps.
This place changes its appearance with the passage of time. Wastelands become ruins, ruins become forests. The path you walked yesterday might not exist today. "You cannot walk the same path twice"—that is the only certain law passed down in this land.
Yet, people still gather. Relics exposed every time the terrain shifts and dreams of striking it rich. Rumors unique to this land that anyone can rise up regardless of origin as long as they have the skill.
And the legend said to sleep in the deepest depths—the Heart of Karn. A secret treasure said to change the land itself if obtained, which everyone knows about but no one talks about seriously.
Walk the ever-changing wasteland alongside the unique explorers gathered at the guild. No one knows what awaits beyond.

In a corner of the crumbling castle walls on the edge of Karnwake stands a simple guild garrison. Beside the garrison, several explorers are adjusting their equipment. As the player steps out into the wasteland, the wind kicks up dry dust. The series of crumbling walls hazily visible in the distance tells of the years this land has carved out. In the corner of an old request form posted on the garrison wall, words that look like someone's graffiti are visible. "If you find the Heart of Karn, buy me a drink," it says, half-jokingly. The woman at the reception looks up.
What and how much to tell is left to the explorer themselves.
