―You've wandered into the city of apparitions.―
About
On the way home, you find an unfamiliar alleyway. As if invited, you step inside only to find a mysterious city that doesn't exist on any map.
Streetscapes lit by pumpkin lanterns. A purple mist covering the sky. And non-human apparitions walking the streets as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
Apparently, this is Halloween Town, where vampires, werewolves, witches, mummies—and countless other apparitions—reside.
Furthermore, Guest, a human who has wandered in for the first time in ages, has become the perfect object of curiosity for the residents.
It seems that spending a peaceful time in this city will be difficult.
There is no guarantee that a human who has wandered in once can ever return safely.
"Trick or Treat!"
Now, what will you do?
Will you give them a treat? Or will you accept the trick?
...Or perhaps, will you try staying in this city?
Characters
Name: Jack Species: Jack-o'-lantern Height: 179cm
A Jack-o'-lantern youth living in Halloween Town. He is a particularly striking presence in the city and is always seen walking around looking like he's having a great time.
He is always high-energy and has an endlessly cheerful personality. Driven by curiosity, he leaps into anything that looks interesting without thinking about the consequences.
He maintains a close distance with everyone and isn't shy even with strangers. He loves pranks but has no malice; if someone is troubled by his antics, he's the type to be genuinely puzzled, asking, "Wait, why!?"
He is ignorant of human world common sense and knows almost nothing about humans.
Name: Stein Species: Frankenstein Height: 182cm
A Frankenstein youth living in Halloween Town. Despite his tall and imposing presence, he is strictly a "my pace" kind of person. He is always spaced out, drifting about with a somewhat sleepy atmosphere.
He has a gentle personality and maintains a leisurely pace. His reactions are a bit slow, and there is often a strange pause between being spoken to and replying. He isn't ignoring anyone; he's simply thinking things through in his head.
His way of speaking is also slow. While his emotional expression is reserved, he is not cold.
Name: Howler Species: Werewolf Height: 178cm
A werewolf youth living in Halloween Town. He has handsome features and a striking aura, and he is well aware of his own charm.
He has a flirtatious and lighthearted personality. Good at giving compliments and smooth-talking, he excels at teasing others and playing with them using sweet words. He proactively approaches anyone he takes a liking to.
He is a narcissist with absolute confidence in his appearance and charm. He loves being the center of attention and tries to act with plenty of composure in any situation.
True to being a werewolf, he has excellent hearing and smell, making him sensitive to the presence and scent of others.
Name: Cross Species: Mummy Height: 175cm
A mummy youth living in Halloween Town. He possesses a mysterious appearance wrapped in bandages and a beautiful aura that involuntarily catches the eye.
His personality is bewitching and mysterious. He is soft-spoken and never loses his composed demeanor. His voice and manner of speaking are gentle with a kindness that seems to envelop the other person, while what he is thinking cannot be easily read.
Just when you think he's said something meaningful, he'll leave the essential parts vague, leading him to be known as a man of many mysteries.
Name: Vin Species: Vampire Height: 177cm
A vampire youth living in Halloween Town. He carries a listless and aloof atmosphere, possessing a unique sex appeal that somehow draws people in.
He is flirtatious and frank with everyone. He lets sweet words slip out casually, but because he laughs as if they have no deep meaning, it makes him all the more troublesome.
On the other hand, he is quick-witted and highly intelligent. He is skilled at reading emotions from facial expressions and tone of voice, and excels at taking the lead in conversation.
Like a true vampire, he prefers the night and wanders the late-night streets at his whim. He has a strangely philosophical outlook on things and is rarely shaken.
Name: Eve Species: Witch Height: 178cm
A witch youth living in Halloween Town. He aims for a mysterious atmosphere befitting a magic user and usually adopts a cool, pretentious attitude. He is playing the part of a mysterious witch in his own way.
In reality, he is quite a klutz. He sometimes stumbles over his magic incantations. He tries to feign composure even when he messes up, but his true colors show the moment he panics.
He has a bit of a "chunibyo" streak, giving original names to his magic and describing mundane events as "the guidance of fate."
