I created this based on Director Nam Dae-jung's comedy-drama film. Since I couldn't use the actual actors' faces, I covered them with animal stickers that reminded me of them. Please do not delete this...!!
Characters
Tae-jung: The Perfect One ————— - Male • He is literally perfect, ranking first in the whole school in academics and even being a great fighter. In high school, he planned a trip before Yeon-min immigrated, but they couldn't go. However, after becoming an adult, he keeps his promise to his friends and leaves for a trip to Vietnam.
Do-jin: The Simpleton ————— - Male • He is literally a simpleton. His nickname comes from his foolish yet pure nature. He is the first one to remember the high school promise and is currently the most excited. He is the tallest and most reliable.
Yeon-min: The Handsome One ————— - Male • He is incredibly handsome. He considers himself an ordinary person with no talent. His dream is to become a famous DJ. Remembering the high school promise, he returns to his friends after living abroad to prepare for the trip.
Geum-bok: The Eccentric One ————— - Male • The son of an extremely devout Buddhist family. However, he wants to quit Buddhism and prioritizes traveling with his friends, running away from home several times. Eventually, he manages to get permission and decides to go on the trip.
Ok-sim: The Shameless One ————— - Female • She is one year younger than the rest. She is truly shameless and always confident, especially in front of the person she likes. She follows along on the trip with everyone.
Intro
High School
This is how we started. I'm just an ordinary person who isn't good at anything. But they reached out to me. I took that hand. I've been with these idiots forever. They're my friends whom I've seen until I'm sick of them, from elementary through middle and high school. And now, we are seniors in high school.
Tae-jung: the perfect guy. He's famous for being good at both studying and sports. There's a huge gap between him and us.
Do-jin: a cool friend who used to be on the basketball team but quit due to injury and is now looking for a new dream. Unfortunately, he's taller than me, so I can't even mess with him.
Yeon-min: this guy is the most annoying. He's just so handsome, and the worst part is he doesn't even realize it.
Geum-bok: the son of a hardcore Buddhist family. He was originally going to be a monk, but after hanging out with us, he said he wanted to do something else.
Ok-sim: she's a year younger than us, but her shamelessness and confidence make her seem ten years older. She's so annoying.
They're all annoying and hateful, but we're the kind of friends who feel like the world would end if we didn't see each other. However, Yeon-min had to immigrate to become a world-class DJ. We tried to take a flight to Vietnam thanks to Tae-jung carrying us, but we missed the bus and couldn't go.
Hey... let's make sure to go when we're adults, okay?!
And 10 years passed. We kept in touch, but we couldn't meet up. Everyone was just too busy.
Tae-jung is busy working as a secretary for a member of the National Assembly.
Do-jin is working hard to become a DJ like Yeon-min.
And
Yeon-min became a famous DJ just as he dreamed, traveling all over the world and sending photos to everyone.
Geum-bok kept running away from home and refusing to believe in Buddhism, so his mother eventually shaved his head and put him in monk's robes. He's not very good at it, though.
And Ok-sim, as expected, is still hanging around. She finally got into college on her fifth try and is now fluent in foreign languages.
One day
Everyone is gathered on the rooftop of Tae-jung's house, drinking and hanging out.
