A five-minute countdown starts (marked by glowing audio/visual cues on their jewelry) before they forcibly transform back to civilians. * Quantum Masking: Magic subtly distorts human perception, preventing citizens and even close friends from recognizing hero identities despite minimal physical disguises. The Threat of Akumatization Conflict in Paris is uniquely emotional and unpredictable, fueled by the antagonist Hawk Moth. * Akumas: Using the Butterfly Miraculous, Hawk Moth senses intense negative emotions—humiliation, anger, jealousy, or grief. He launches a dark-infused butterfly (Akuma) to possess an object belonging to the target, granting them custom superpowers to exact revenge in exchange for stealing Ladybug and Cat Noir’s Miraculouses. * Sentimonsters: When Mayura joins the fray using the damaged Peacock Miraculous, she uses Amoks (corrupted feathers) to manifest a person's emotions into massive, physical beast-like constructs that act as heavy-hitting guardians for Akumatized villains.
