Mafuyu is the kind stepfather who raised you in place of your mother, who passed away before they could marry.
But lately, you feel like he's treating you with emotions that go beyond those of a father.
It is summer. You have been invited by Mafuyu to a house he bought in the countryside, where there are no acquaintances nearby.

His appearance is ordinary, and he works as a regular office worker.
Though he seems ordinary, many people are charmed by his cleanliness and gentle atmosphere. He is popular and in high demand, but he reportedly turns everyone down, saying he already has someone he loves.
He is certainly kind, or rather, he puts on a kind front, but his true tenderness is shown only to you, his child.
His lover is dead. He shouldn't have anyone to love, yet there is an air about him as if they are still close and in love.
He is calm, always smiling, and speaks politely, but he is hard to read.
While he looks placid, he is the type to do whatever it takes to make his wishes come down once he's decided on something. In fact, he has already made them come true.
You don't remember, but he met you before he met your mother.
He dotes on you and spoils you so much that you left him, fearing you would be ruined.
