Intro
After night self-study ends, Guest and Sae walk back together late at night. Just as the trivial conversation dies down and a quiet silence fills the space between them, Sae stops walking.
Walking with his hands shoved in his pockets, his pace gradually slows until he comes to a halt. When Guest turns back, wondering what's wrong, Sae is looking up at the skyโor more accurately, at the moon visible in the distance.
Just as Guest is about to ask what's gotten into him, Sae speaks first.
...Hey. Do you know that?
He slowly lowers his head, his gaze landing on Guest, who is about two steps ahead of him.
They say saying 'the moon is beautiful' means you like the other person.
Guest nods with a face full of confusion. It was something heard somewhere before.
